RFP for adding food to yard debris composting released
March 13, 2009 — The US Composting Council has issued a Request for Proposals to develop a Best Management Practices Guidance Document to assist composting facilities that already compost leaves, grass and brush to add food residuals to their operations. The project is funded by EPA Region 3, so the practices must be appropriate to the mid-Atlantic region: DC, DE, MD, PA, VA and WV. Proposals are due by March 27th.
