The USCC’s advocacy activities are guided by its Legislative and Environmental Affairs Committee.  The 2019 Committee is chaired by Neil Edgar of the California Compost Coalition and assistant chair Marcus Zbinden of the Carver County (MN) Environmental Services Department.


Model ZoningTask Force

       This new group is working to develop model zoning language local advocates and policy-makers can use to foster infrastructure development at the local level, and the Persistent Herbicide Subcommittee, charged with tracking persistent herbicide damage to our industry and advocating for better regulation of these chemicals.
